What has happened so far on the program?

I’m not going to lie, the first few weeks I went all out and really felt it. These were new exercises for me that I’ve never done before. I had done a lot of bad things to my body by what I ate and being lazy and I wanted to see how it responded when I gave it everything. It was amazing to feel and see in just weeks. Every part of my body seemed to be firming up and cutting the fat off that I couldn’t get rid of with even 20 hours of cardio I was doing for my Ironman training.

What do you like most about the program?

I think the simplicity is what I like the most. I look around the gym and watch guys doing some crazy things and it makes me proud to be doing a deadlift.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

I spent a lot of time trying to find the right program for me. I had just completed a 70.3 Ironman triathlon and was prepared for a full distance Ironman and realized that I still didn’t have the body I wanted. I read through several books that were too complicated and didn’t really answer my questions. I needed something straight forward and laid out because that’s what works for me.

What are three other benefits of the program?

First the small amount of time it takes to reach your potential. I see guys up there for hours and I get in and out in under an hour every workout and have definitely experienced better results. Second for me I get to really do some eating. Focusing on eating more clean protein has allowed me to really feel full and fight off bad cravings since day one on the program. Last I would say that I never knew how much stronger I would feel overall when I build a solid lower back and core. I have zero back pain now and I feel capable in every aspect of my life.

Would you recommend this program? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this program because it works and it wont leave your head spinning with questions. Just follow the plan and after a couple of weeks you will be in a rhythm that will forever change who you are.

I would like the thank Mike Matthews for not trying to sell a gimmick diet or workout program. You gave me everything I needed to have the body I always wanted and made me believe it was possible.
