How many months’ progress do your pictures represent? What were your stats for each picture?

The before picture was taken on January 27, 2017 and I was 176 pounds and 25% body fat.

The after picture was taken on June 27, 2017 and I was 141 pounds and 9% body fat.

What has happened so far on the program?

In six months I lost 35 pounds through maintaining a calorie deficit of 25%.

My body fat percentage dropped 16 points and I’ve continue to make strength gains on all my major lifts, especially now since I have begun to reverse diet!

What workout split from the book did you use?

The 5-day split.

What, if anything, almost kept you from buying the book or starting the program?

There is so much misinformation and bro-science in the fitness space. Fad diets, worthless supplements, and BS workout routines.

It can be so hard to navigate the fitness space, especially for a novice. After trying various programs with little success, I came across Bigger Leaner Stronger and it changed everything.

What do you like most about the program?

Mike’s no-nonsense style of writing gets right to the point. He breaks down the science of proper diet and resistance training in a way that is approachable and makes the concepts easy to understand.

You still have to put in the work, but he makes it a hell of a lot easier to do so.

How does this program compare with others you’ve tried?

It just works. Other programs I’ve tried lasted up to 12 weeks, but afterwards I always ended up putting the weight back on.

The idea with Bigger Leaner Stronger is not that it’s a quick, short-term weight loss solution. Rather, it’s a long-term program that helps you change your habits, your health, and your life for the better.

How has what you’ve achieved with your body changed other areas of your life?

I’ve gotten a confidence boost of 100%! I wish I lived in a warmer part of the country so I’d have an excuse to run around with my shirt off all the time, haha. Also, I haven’t had as much energy as I do now since I was a kid!

Not only is it great to get compliments from friends and family, it’s also awesome to be the guy that others turn to for fitness advice and help!

Who would you recommend this program to and why?

Literally everybody. Anyone who wants to lose weight, build muscle, or just live a healthier life in general, Bigger Leaner Stronger is for them!

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Mike’s book is an invaluable tool to help you along in your fitness journey. But the most important thing is dedication to your own personal goal. Do the work, follow the guidelines, and you WILL see results. It won’t always be easy, but I guarantee you it will be worth it.

Did you use any Legion supplements?

It’s shorter to list the ones I don’t use, haha! I’m currently using WHEY+, TRITON, TRIUMPH, FORTIFY, PULSE, RECHARGE, PHOENIX, and FORGE (when cutting). I also bought ATLAS for my bulk after my reverse diet is done.
